Whether you require increased tool life, improved wear resistance, or distortion-free treatment, Lakshmi Vacuum Heat Treaters Pvt. Ltd. stands ready with technological strength, metallurgical depth, and nationwide reach to deliver optimal results—every time. Partner with us for your next vacuum heat treatment challenge.
Materials & Components We Treat
Vacuum heat treatment is specified where surface integrity, distortion control and repeatability decide whether a part survives in service. Our units process these material families as regular commercial job work, on the same class of equipment we manufacture.
Alloy & Tool Steels
Hot work, cold work, plastic mould and high-speed steels treated for hardness, wear resistance and dimensional stability — the core of our tool-room workload.
Stainless & PH Steels
Austenitic, martensitic and precipitation-hardening grades processed for solution treatment, hardening and stress relief without the surface oxidation an open or salt-bath furnace leaves behind.
Nickel & Cobalt Alloys
Inconel, Monel and Hastelloy components brazed, annealed and solution treated under vacuum, where a clean atmosphere is the only way to protect these alloys from contamination.
Titanium & Aluminium Alloys
Reactive and heat-sensitive alloys handled with vacuum levels and quench parameters matched to the material, and with cycles developed before production starts.
Copper, Brass & Beryllium Copper
Brazing, solution treatment and age hardening for electrical, thermal and electrode components where conductivity must survive the thermal cycle.
Powder-Metal & Sintered Parts
Sintering and post-sinter processing for components produced from compacted powders, run in vacuum for a clean, consistent result.
How a Job Runs: Enquiry to Dispatch
From your first enquiry to parts back in your stores — here is how we work with you.
Vacuum Heat Treatment Services — FAQ
The questions buyers ask most often before sending their first batch.
What is vacuum heat treatment, and when is it the right choice?
It is a thermal process carried out in vacuum or a controlled low-pressure atmosphere instead of air, salt or protective gas. With no oxygen present, parts come out bright and oxide-free, distortion is easier to control, and the result repeats batch after batch — which is why it is specified for tooling, critical machined components and parts that cannot be cleaned after treatment.
Which processes can Lakshmi Vacuum run as job work?
Vacuum hardening and tempering, annealing and solutionizing, vacuum brazing, stress relieving and normalizing, high-pressure gas quenching, and tool steel treatments for hot work, cold work and high-speed steel grades.
What materials can be treated?
Alloy and tool steels, stainless and precipitation-hardening grades, nickel and cobalt alloys, titanium and aluminium alloys, copper-based alloys, and sintered or powder-metal components.
Do you take small batches, or only production volumes?
Both. Tool-room batches and repeat production volumes are scheduled on the same equipment. Share the quantity and the material, and our team will confirm the unit and the plan that fits your schedule.
Where are the treatment units, and does location affect turnaround?
We operate 9+ vacuum heat treatment units across India — including Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hosur, Hyderabad, Manesar, Mumbai, Noida and Pune — alongside our vacuum furnace manufacturing base in Bengaluru. Using the unit nearest your plant shortens transit time; scheduling is confirmed when the enquiry is reviewed.
How do I get a quotation?
Send the part drawing or sample details, material grade, required hardness or specification, quantity and required delivery date through our Request a Quote page or the contact form. Our team comes back with process feasibility, the unit that will run the job, and pricing.
